Emory Masters Swimming

Emory is closing the Gym as of tonight 3/16/2020. No masters practice until further notice

We are still swimming as scheduled. If things need to change, hopefully it will become clearer over the next couple of days. Until that time, we will swim as scheduled and we will adjust as needed.

There is an Emory Swim meet Friday the 21st so no AFTERNOON practice this Friday Normal morning practice on Friday though.

Monday January 20th, MLK day swim practice is at the normal time, 5:45 am. Hope to see you there.

December Schedule Update: The last practice for 2019 will be Sunday, December 22 at 8:30 am The Emory Pool will be closed December 23, 2019, through Jan 1, 2020. The first practice in 2020 will be Thursday, Jan 2, 2020, at 5:45 am.

No practice Thanksgiving day the 28th or Friday the 29th.

This Friday evening, November 8, 2019, there is NO (evening only) masters practice due to a swim meet.

Pool is closed tonight- 10/29 From the WoodPec Staff "We are currently experiencing mechanical issues with a pipe in the Woodruff P.E. Center Pool filters. Replacement parts are being installed and we anticipate an update later this evening. During repairs, the pool will be closed for recreational swim and club practices. Great news everyone! The SAAC Olympic pool is up and running on normal schedule today! The repair was able to be completed in-house quicker than anticipated and masters can return to SAAC pool 8:30-10:00am Sunday and Monday this weekend!

A pipe burst at the SAAC and that pool is down through the weekend. Jon is trying to get them to schedule a guard at the WoodPec. Will keep you posted, but we may need to cancel Sunday and Monday

We get 2 long course practices in a row at the SAAC next week. Normal Sunday practice September 1st 8:30 am and Monday, September 2nd - Labor Day 8:30 am. See you there

The WoodPec pool repairs are completed and masters practices return to the indoor pool for Mon-Friday practices. Sundays remain outside at the SAAC until November 1. Also, Labor Day, Monday, September 2 is at the SAAC 8:30 am... The indoor temp will be on the cool side for the first week as the boiler warms the water. You might want a cap.

Masters swim practice has will be moved to the SAAC during the WPEC pool closure. We have confirmed 5:45am-7:15am practice times Monday through Friday August 5th-23rd and Tuesday/Friday evening from 5:30-7:00pm.
