Before another {busy, full, hectic, stressful, etc} week starts, I want to invite you to continue to turn towards self-compassion with my new wording for one of my most needed mantras. . Instead of I can’t be everything to everyone. . Try on I don’t need to TRY to be everything to everyone.... . I continue to fool myself into thinking it’s possible to please everyone. I also continue to believe that there’s little consequence in my efforts to do so. Well, after many signs that this is not working out well for me, I was invited to stop trying to BE everything. I truly need to let go and be ok with only doing what I’m actually available (emotionally, physically, etc) to do. . Anyone else want to join my new club I done trying to be everything to everyone?
