Hey folks, Alan here. We are entering the home stretch on the camp house. A few minor things left and an inspection. Our house is slowly moving forward and I c...ould use some help! Now that the rain is gone and the temps have dropped I will be pushing full steam ahead on construction. Camp New Dawn will hold its 13th Annual Turkey Shoot on Nov.... 14, 2020 to raise money for camper scholarships. This year, of course. will be different as we adhere to CDC Covid guidelines. All events willbe outdoors: The shoot itself, Silent Auc(on and Lunch, which will be delicious pasta dishes catered by Bob’s Brick Oven. Gates open at 9:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m. We are seeking donatons for the Silent Aucon (at least a $15 value) and $100 Sponsors for each target. If you or your company can contribute, please call the number below.Shoot rules: $5.00 per shot or 6 for $25. Women, men, youth, and mixed rounds. 12 or 20 gauge guns, full choke Max. Ammo provided. No special guns. The shoot will be held at 245 S. Cedar Lane, Chickamauga, GA. Stars from the family Chistmas movie, "The Farmer and The Belle, Saving Santa Land", filmed at Camp New Dawn and other parts of Walker County, will be signing personalized DVDs and selling other movie merchandise at the shoot.
