Sts. Mary & Martha EYC

Dear Church Family, With Father Tim's blessing, we are introducing a new way of building community at Sts. Mary and Martha of Bethany. Many members of the congregation camp, so we thought we would try something different this year. Since we will be doing the Good Friday vigil already, Father Dan thought, why not invite the entire Sts. Mary and Martha community to camp on the campus. On the Good Friday evening, April 10, 2020 you are invited to setup a tent in the meadow. I...f you have a camper, you are invited to set it up in the parking lot. We will have a campfire where we can roast marshmallows, sing, and community build. Everyone, younger, older, and in the middle is invited. If you are not into camping that's alright, you are welcome to come out and enjoy the campfire and fun. More details will be coming soon. Thank you, John R. Avery

Dear EYC Families, This Sunday (2/2) we will be playing board games, and planning for this month’s EYC Compline. Next Sunday (2/9) in anticipation for St. Valentine’s Day, we will have a group discussion with Fr. Tim about love and relationships. All youth are invited to join. EYC at the food pantry

Dear EYC, Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well. I am writing you in order to communicate a plan for our youth community to Play, Pray, and Serve. This Sunday (1/12) PLAY: we are having board game night. Come with your favorite game and get ready to have some fun!... Next Sunday (1/19) PRAY: we will be leading the community in Compline - the night worship in the prayer book. We will gather at 5 pm to prepare, and begin worship at 6:00 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for EYC to give back, to serve this parish. On Saturday 1/25 @ 7:45 am SERVE: we will gather on campus @ M&M to carpool to Hamilton Mill UMC food pantry. This ministry is one that our community contributes food and prayers toward. We as a youth community will gather there to serve as well!
