Reports to The Project Manager will report to the Architectural Manager and the President of Facilitec. Description The Project Manager is a responsible for the complete delivery process of a project from inception to finish. The Project Manger must be able to successfully coordinate a project team of professionals within the office as well as outside consultants and project vendors. This position assumes the candidate has all the attributes and skill set of a Senior Designe...r in addition to the following: Responsibilities and Duties Manage client contact and expectations. Coordinate all team members both internal and external. Budget project hours, project fees and monitor adherence to allotted hours. Ensure projects stay on schedule. Ability to analyze bids and advise clients. Clearly communicate with clients so that they understand the construction documents and finishes. Ability to understand, coordinate and review MEP documents. Skills and knowledge to direct projects of all sizes (2,000 s.f. to 100,000 s.f. plus) Attend construction site meetings, write reports and respond to RFI’s. Conduct punch list walkthroughs and issue project closeout documents. Qualifications Bachelor of Interior Design or Architecture. 6 years or more experience in a commercial design firm. Enough AutoCAD skills to complete drawings or make revisions when a Designer is not available. Professional accreditation (AIA, IIDA, NCARB, LEED, etc.). Employees are expected to meet the following ongoing requirements: Maintain currency with the profession through continuing education and selfimprovement. Accountability for accuracy of work, meeting deadlines and professional work habits. Maintain profitability of the office by meeting budgeted hours on projects.
