Don Nelson, M.D., Infectious Disease Physician, was the first frontline staff member at Fairview Park Hospital to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine today. George Harrison, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, Mike Karoly, M.D., OBGYN Physician, and many other frontline physicians, nurses and staff were among the first to receive the vaccine. This is a historic moment in Middle Georgia. Today, we took another important step in our commitment to keep our colleagues, physicians and patients protected against the virus.
