The #decalogue #sermonseries wrapped this past Sunday as we studied the 10th commandment. . The question that comes next in the Larger Catechism after the exploration of the 10 commandments is thus: . Q. 149. Is any man able perfectly to keep the commandments of God?... A. No man is able, either of himself, or by any grace received in this life, perfectly to keep the commandments of God; but doth daily break them in thought, word, and deed. . So where is our hope? . It’s tempting to say t...hat this is just another casualty of #2020 but we know that God is always at work, and quite often He accomplishes His purposes through the unexpected or the disappointing. In fact, isn’t that the story of Christmas? Jesus came to earth not as a great king as many expected but With the poor and meek and lowly, Lived on earth our Savior holy.
