Fantasyland Speed Park 08.05.2021

Some track "promoters" may keep giving you excuses but we here at Fantasyland are still running. State "sanctions" may affect you but when every other track in that state, even one within miles of you is running within a few weeks with a national series in attendance no less, I think the excuses speak volumes. Don't be fueled by misinformation. Support tracks that support racing. Not tracks whose websites have been shutdown or have no schedule or even a plan to reopen. Lets... keep the tracks, like Fantasyland, that have an actual future alive. Not tracks that have been cited by health departments when we have ongoing pandemic and don't even feature function restrooms. We stand with tracks that promote actual racing even if ours is make believe. It's still better than those that stand for no racing. Regards, Rico Montana CEO, Fantasyland Speed Park

Some track promoters may feel the need to explain themselves this Memorial Day. I don’t have that problem. I’ve served. Here I am, promoting fictional races throughout the land while draft dodgers and non-serving individuals try to promote their tracks using fairy tales from fictional books and never serving a day in uniform. We’re here for you! We at Fantasyland live in false reality!

I remember when another track began it’s multi-million dollar upgrades on January 1, 2018. Fans in and around Chandler, Indiana were promised an upgraded dirt track and drag strip as well as a brand new pavement track. New pavement for parking and for a new drive-in movie theater. Baseball and soccer fields along with a stocked fishing pond and miles of paved walking & biking trails. A Ferris wheel and the Worlds largest guitar shaped swimming pool among other things. Ho...wever all we have is one track that hasn’t been active in years and another covered in weeds on a property that hasn’t been mowed since 2019. A concession stand that was shut down by the county health department and non-working restrooms. All sitting idle behind locked gates and a website that no longer works. The excuse? Because tracks 2000 miles away aren’t racing. I’m not sure what that matters though considering tracks in the state where all these ongoing renovations are happening are already hosting practices and a number of them (Tri-State Speedway, Paragon Speedway, Bloomington Speedway, Lawrenceburg Speedway, Lincoln Park Speedway, Gas City I-69 Speedway and others) will be hosting live racing, with fans, in the next few weeks. Yet for some reason the track at Chandler is sitting idle waiting for more guidance and releasing a plan while other tracks run. Interesting strategy.

Monday, April 13, 2020...Our time at Fantasyland without Viserion... It's been awhile now since Viserion was killed by the Night King and changed over. When I first posted that Viserion had been killed and then brought back to life on behalf of the Army of the Dead, so many of you responded with condolences and an outpouring of love. Before Viserion came to our magical Fantasyland, Viserion loved to consume the local wildlife of Essos with fire. His spirit is everywhere in Es...sos and Westeros and it's a difficult adjustment being without him. While we still have Drogon and Rhaegal, Viserion had his own unique personality that made him special. Daenerys and I would like to give each and everyone of you our heartfelt thanks for all your messages of support. Viserion will be long missed COVID-19 has to end soon to end soon but if it doesnt, racing has already begun here in Fantasyland so all of us can take our minds off this depressing state of lockdown. We have fictional functioning restrooms (with running water) as well as a billion dollar concession stand! Something not all tracks in the Tri-State area offer. Race cars should not be sitting idle during racing season, and neither should race fans. That's why our fictional cars have been running on 4 of our tracks (dirt and pavement ovals, road course & dragstrip). Viserion loved flying fast with Daenerys on his back. He's probably still frying the wildlife in whatever fictional afterlife some of you all believe in! For that, we thank you! And life goes on...

Tuesday, April 7, 2020...We're not in Neverland anymore!. I never dreamed on February 12 when failing "entrepreneurs" were bidding on failing tracks that approx 7 weeks later, tracks like Chandler would still be sitting idle with no definitive answer as to announcing their opening day or even what classes they would be running. What a suprise! COVID-19 isn't like a biblical roaring lion seeking whom it can devour. We're not into fairytales. It's more just a virus that the wor...ld has never seen before and like any other, will take time to sort out. But have no worries, this hasn't stopped fictional racing from happening at Fantasyland Speed Park. We're still running! Blessings on your day friends
