Good soil health is vital when growing vegetables. Our students recently had our soil sent off to the UGA Extension office for testing. We were excited to see that we have really great soil (thanks to a recent cover crop). We needed a few amendments in areas where we are going root veggies due to high phosphorus so our students quickly jumped in and started amending with a borax mixture (all natural). Have you had your soil tested? Check out @ugaextension for details on how to send off your soil. It’s fun and educational!!
Thank you so much Core57 Downtown Alpharetta! We had fun meeting one of your members today, and she was AWESOME on the farm! Thank you for your support!
Pollinators are vital to food production, and we are so thankful to Ed Hoehn with the Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Association for tending hives at the farm and teaching us too! #metroatlantabeekeepersassociation
