SCAM ALERT Thinking about getting the Covid-19 vaccine? Don't be duped by a scammer only interested in obtaining your personal information or money! We are g...etting national reports that identity thieves are attempting to use news of the distribution of the vaccine for their own gain. Citizens report having received phone calls from what appears to be a reputable healthcare agency with a spoofed local phone number, allegedly soliciting personal information in order to secure a reserved COVID-19 vaccine. We wanted to make you aware in the event this scam effort finds its way into Roswell. Remember, always verify the person or agency you’re speaking with is legitimate before providing any information. If in doubt, cease contact and call the agency/business/etc. directly to continue your business.
