UPDATED MODIFIED CURBSIBE PROTOCOL: 1. Our lobby is now open!! We are still trying to limit the number of people in the building, but we have decals on the floor to help keep safe social distancing. 2. We REQUIRE that you wear a mask or facial covering and have it on upon entering the building. 3. You no longer need to call when you get here!! Just come inside. In the event that our lobby is full, we may ask that you wait in your car until a few people have exited the lobby.... If this is the case and you are not here for an appointment (just picking up your pet or a prescription)- We will bring it out to you. 4. The limit is 1 client per pet appointment- we ask that only people essential to the appointment are present, and if picking up a prescription or your pet, please have just 1 person enter the building. 5. We will still offer "curbside" appointments if: You do not have a mask or facial covering, you have more than 1 person here for the appointment or are uncomfortable entering the building. If you are feeling ill in any way, we ask that you reschedule your appointment or have someone else bring your pet to the appointment. 6. If you are here for an appointment: Please check in with a receptionist, they will escort you directly into an exam room. If you are a "Work In/ Walk In" appointment, you will be asked to remain in your car until a room becomes available. *When it comes time for your pet to be examined, have treatments or get vaccinations, the doctor and tech will perform exams and treatments in our treatment area- Not in the exam room, so that we can maintain safe social distancing. However, having you in the exam room provides for quicker, clearer communication than having you in your car and talking over the phone. 7. We thank you all for your patience during this unprecedented time as we move forward to our "new normal." See more

Here's a look inside the clinic while we practice safe social distancing and "curbside" service! Here is how it works: 1. Call the clinic to make an appointment. (770-460-0090) 2. When you arrive for your appointment, stay in your car and call our office to get checked in. 3. A technician will call you to get a brief history about your pet and then retrieve your pet from your vehicle. ... 4. Once brought inside, the tech and the doctor will perform an exam and create a care plan for your pet. 5. The doctor or tech will call you and discuss treatment plans and options. 6. When a decision is made for treatment, your pet will be cared for by our wonderful doctors, technicians, receptionists and kennel staff. 7. We will bring your pet back out to your vehicle when the exam/treatment is complete. 8. We will call you at that time for payment over the phone (or handle cash/ care credit as needed) 9. Call ahead to have any medications, preventatives or food ready for you at pick up. Call our office and we will bring it out to you! We are diligently working very hard to stay safe and keep you and your pets safe. We are still open and here to serve you!! See more

NOTICE TO OUR CLIENTS CONCERNING CORONAVIRUS We are committed to keeping our office healthy and safe for all of our patients, clients, staff, and family members. In light of growing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, also known as coronavirus, we would like to make you aware of actions we are taking. HOW ARE WE TRACKING THE VIRUS?... We are continuously monitoring the local and global situation, and are receiving updates from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). STEPS WE'RE TAKING IN OUR OFFICE Placing hand sanitizer around the office for use by both clients and staff. We are routinely disinfecting commonly touched surfaces, such as desks and chairs, door handles, etc., multiple times a day. Constant communication with our entire staff about the best hygiene practices to ensure you feel that our office provides a safe and clean environment. Offering curbside triaging, where/when it is conducive to do so. WHAT WE'RE ASKING OF YOU We urge our clients to follow CDC guidelines including self-quarantine when prudent. We are asking all clients who have COVID-19 like symptoms to reschedule any appointments or send another authorized agent to present their pet to our hospital. In the interest of public health, we kindly ask you to only make essential veterinary appointments at this time. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer immediately upon entering our office. Our hospital is a no handshake zone our staff are practicing social distancing and maintaining a 6 ft. distance from other people that means our clients as well. Cough into a tissue. If you are coughing a lot, it is probably best to avoid coming in for your appointment. If you or members of your family have been required or asked to be quarantined for any reason, or test positive for COVID-19, and you have visited our facility within 72 hours, we kindly ask you to please alert our hospital. As always, please plan for your pets. If you or a member of your family becomes ill, we always recommend having a 2 week supply of food, medications, and sanitary supplies, as well as an identified friend or family member who can help care for your pet if needed. It is important to note that COVID-19 is not thought to be a threat to your pets at this time. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation during these challenging times. Please contact our office with any other questions. 770-460-0090

February Is National Pet Dental Health Month!! Here's a little fact: By not getting a dental cleaning or brushing your pet’s teeth, formations of bacteria, food particles, and saliva combine and collect between the gums and teeth, which progresses into tartar buildup. Over time, this can develop into periodontal disease, which erodes at the gums and can result in bad breath, bleeding gums, and pain. Below is a picture of before and after a dental cleaning Feel free to give us call and learn more about how you can help your little fur baby have a healthier mouth and life
