If we're honest with ourselves, Holy Saturday is where most of us live all the time. In the waiting and the wanting, somewhere in between the promise and the fulfillment. But there is a certain grace for this space, knowing that Christ is right there with you.... Between sunset and sunrise, and yes even between death and life, God has entered it too. So lean into the uncertainty of Holy Saturday, amidst the grief and unknowing, to find the Spirit of Christ there as well.

On this Good Friday, Jesus breathes his last and utters these words: Father, forgive them. We call this day Good not because God died but because in His death we see the revelation of who God is.... He has forgiven us, and that is both good and lovely.

Come celebrate Easter with us! For those who may be traveling over spring break, we are offering a Friday night Easter service at The Bridge at 6 p.m. On Easter Sunday, we will hold three worship services beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Worship Center, 9:45 a.m. at The Bridge and 11 a.m. in the Worship Center. This is a great opportunity to invite your family and friends to join us as we celebrate the risen Lord.

Knowing He was headed towards rejection, torture and death by crucifixion, Jesus asked for His Father’s will to be done. He could have stopped it, but He didn’t. He did that for you.
