What is food insecurity? Food insecurity describes the lack of consistent access to food in order to live a healthy life. In other words it is prolonged hunger ...due to factors such as finances or environment. Understanding the four levels of food insecurity can help us know when our neighbors may be struggling. We can help break the stigma around hunger and encourage each other to share crucial resources with those in need.
