FireAway, LLC is seeking experienced pipe fitters to install automatic fire sprinkler systems on new and retrofit construction projects. Candidates must be motivated and willing to work as a team. Requirements: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Successfully pass security and background checks and drug screening Must have transportation to meet ride daily and be ...dependable Sprinkler Fitter Responsibilities: Responsible, under the supervision of the foreman, for reading fire sprinkler blueprints, for installation of fire sprinkler systems, including start up through final testing. Responsible for following verbal and written instructions from foreman, superintendent, project manager. Responsible for maintaining a clear and safe work area. Abilities Required: Communicate effectively with foreman and other workers. Knowledge of safety procedures. Ability to use a tape measure and follow directions. Strength to carry equipment, tools or pipe weighing up to 50 pounds, and to lift 50 pounds of weight above your head. Must be physically capable of performing work from ladders and operating lifts. General knowledge of pipe threading machine and small electrical tools. Tools and Equipment Needed: Channel Locks, tape measure, torpedo level, hard hat and PPE. See more
