This post is two-fold! First, today is the last day for early voting in Georgia. They will be open until 7pm, so go get it done. Secondly, I am not a pink person and only own two things that are pink- my mascara and my moisturizer ( see stories), but the color pink is an important reminder this October for Breast Cancer Awareness. I would be remiss, if I didn’t remind y’all to make an appointment for your mammogram. This year you may have canceled your yearly appointment because of Covid and if that is the case, please let this be a friendly, but pointed reminder to stop whatever you are doing and make that appointment now. I remember a Halloween from my youth when a family friend, dressed as The Swamp Thing, which meant he was covered from head to toe in Spanish Moss. The next day he was covered from head to toe in clear nail polish and chigger bites. It made an impression. Last week, I picked Spanish Moss four different times to complete the garland install at Jonah’s and my PRO tip, pick Spanish moss from trees, not the ground and chigger bites will allude you.
