Downtown Newnan was hit hard. This was an EF3 possibly an EF4, on the ground for 90 minutes with 140+mph winds. Homes around Newnan HS are destroyed. If you can... help, you are needed! Coweta Sheriff's Office just posted this: "Coweta 911 asking for help from anyone who has a chain saw and can start cutting trees up from the storm. You are asked to report to Newnan High School where there is a group of officers on the ground who will give you further directions. Please keep in mind there are power lines down in numerous areas and trees across multiple roads. Our county and citizens need help as soon as you are available to go. I know it is late, but help is badly needed and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you"

Please pray for our neighbors in and around Newnan, GA. A tornado went through early this morning, knocking down trees and power lines and has caused significant damage to homes. The storms have caused damage in many other areas as well. There have been injuries and deaths reported so please pray for all affected.
