Today our 3s roared their way into Lion discussions. We read a few facts about lions, they made a lions mane using forks and later had fun playing with play doh.

Today our kinder kids had fun with a little extra centers time while we continued end of year assessments. We continued to talk about time in math. We were tested on our listening skills in math, we had to listen to the teacher and draw what she said. We were missing some friends today so we all sat at one table and had lunch together today. Here’s a glimpse at our day.

Froggy twos She has grown so much this year!

Today our kinder kids had a educational fun day. We didn’t get many pictures but we did get some of the surprise egg hunt we had at recess. The kids had a great day.

Froggy twos It was an eggstravaganza kind of day. Our kids found every single Easter egg out on the playground. I hope everyone has a fun and exciting spring break.

Today our 3s started talking about Zoo animals. We started with a favorite, an alligator. We compared alligators to crocodiles and then they painted their own alligator. After it dried they glued their legs, teeth and eyes on. Then we had lots of chomping around the room.

Froggy twos So we repositioned our lid that the caterpillars are attached to and were surprised when they started wriggling. We found out that this is their defense mechanism to ward off any predators. They are now safely back in their container and are now content. Our theme is On The Farm this week and the kids had fun making muddy pigs today.

Today our kinder kids continued to learn about the butterfly life cycle. We learned about the equal symbol when completing math problems and worked our first word problem. We continued to work on our Easter centers today as well. Here is a glimpse at our day.

Today our 3s made their own little baby chicks. Later they used plastic eggs to do egg stamps with paint.

Today our 3s continued our Easter and Spring discussions by color matching eggs, making tulips and playing with play dough.

Froggy twos It was fun seeing everyone in orange today. Tomorrow you can wear your costume! We made some Halloween sensory bottles today. We may have gone a little crazy on the glitter but, it was fun. Here’s a glimpse into our day.

Our kinders had a fun day today. We compared numbers, started adjectives, wrote in our journals, and told stories.

Our Kinders had a freat crazy sock day today. We finished up our spider stories, finished talking about verbs, had a discussion about non-living vs. living, and read a few more Halloween books today.

Halloween Week - Silly Socks Day Today our 3s took off their shoes and walked around showing off their silly socks. They water painted spider webs and made their own walking spider to bring home.

Froggy twos It was crazy sock day for spirit week! Tomorrow, it will be to wear orange. We had lots of fun today. We got a special pumpkin cookie, explored everything about pumpkins, and even ate pumpkin seeds. Two didn’t like it, two did, and one asked for seconds. Here’s a glimpse into our day.

We had a great day in the Kinder room. We kicked off spirit week in our pajamas. We discussed if a spider would be a good pet. We even created our own spiders.

Halloween Week - Jammie Day Today our 3s did their first directed monster drawing, painted it and then later created their own silly playdoh monsters to take home.

Froggy twos It’s spirit week! Everyone got to wear their jammies today! Tomorrow it will be crazy socks ! We had lots of fun with monsters today and tomorrow it’s going to be all about pumpkins . Here’s a glimpse into our day.

Froggy twos Today the kids were able to go into our pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin to decorate and take home. Instead of paint, they chose smelly markers and stickers for the decorating. We had a fun little spider treat and we finished the day watching a couple of snippets of Spookley the Square Pumpkin. Have a spooktacular weekend!

We had a fun day with pumpkins in the kinder room today. We tasted pumpkin seeds, 7 of us liked them and 2 did not, we labeled our pumpkin books, went to the pumpkin patch, and ate a pumpkin shaped pizza. Take a look at our day!

Pumpkins Today our 3’s were all creative. We started a couple projects that we have to wait until they dry to finish, they attempted to wrap rubber bands around pumpkins; matched pumpkin shapes and did lots of dancing.
