Floyd County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers 20.12.2020

We are very excited to be able to offer a 2021 Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Training program. The program will however be a hybrid training program consisting of online classes and four in-person labs. Due to the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic, The University System of Georgia is requiring the program to be offered online to help limit exposure to COVID-19. Online training class will begin in late March of 2021 and finish up by late June of 2021. Traini...ng classes will be broken into 4 blocks, each block of classes will be followed by a lab. Each block of classes has a completion window of two weeks. You will be notified by Friday, February 5, 2021 if you are accepted into the training program. Should you be accepted into the training program a $200 registration fee will be due no later than Friday, February 19, 2021. There are plenty of trees already ready for recycling here at The Home Depot! Drop your tree off early for recycling, or come see us on January 9 for Bring One For the Chipper from 10 AM-12 PM! Whenever you recycle, be sure to stop by for a free seedling one the day of the event!
