April Connections Calendar! #noinstrumentsleftbehind

Our 6th grade student of the week is Tripp. Mr. Dykes is already doing an incredible job in band playing the trombone even after only having his instrument for a little over a week! He comes in the practice early each morning and in class always strives to get better. He’s going to be a great leader in our band program and we can’t wait to continue watching him be successful! Our 7th grade student of the week is Sophia! Ms. Trauth is a brand new band student, she is a bu...dding percussionist and has hit the ground running trying to stay caught up with students that have been playing for a year already. She’s already giving them a run for their money and I’m positive that with a little more time and patience and practice that she will be more than caught up and will become a leader in our percussion section! Keep up the awesome work, Sophia! Our 8th grade student of the week is Kushal! Ms. Patel is a flute player and has just started back on campus with us after having been a distance learner for the first semester. Kushal is doing a great job in our flute section and doesn’t shy away from a challenge. She sees it coming and prepares for it! She never gives up and is a shining example of perseverance in our band program! Keep it up, Kushal!
