Come out to see what’s blooming at Lost Corner right now. Native Azaleas in a color that defies description... Find other beautiful blooms and post them in the comments. Let others enjoy the beauty while it lasts...please don’t pick the flowers.

In case you were wondering: Just what are all those cut up logs for? Behold....the first of many natural wood benches that will be found around the park. FOLC Board member Ted Hawthorne crafted this bench out of one of the cut logs we showed you that were milled by a portable sawmill on site at the park. Great work Ted!

Hikes for Health Challenge - 10 Hikes in 10 Months Ten local Atlanta parks and greenspace organizations have joined forces with national recreation retailer REI for a social media campaign encouraging the public to hike, walk, or jog ten trails in their greenspaces over the next ten months.
