Hey everyone! Sometimes there's a season for really fun things like poking around barns and thrift stores and estate sales looking for those perfect antique and vintage items, and sometimes, that season passes. Because of family health issues, I'm releasing my beautiful booths - built out by my hubby - to my dear friends at Marietta Antique Mall and Marietta Auction House. The business did great - thanks to each of you - but I don't have the time any more to keep my booths in the amazing shape I want them to be. That said, I already know who's going to move in - and they are simply stunning collectors and designers - so please keep visiting them - and support them as well as you did for me. For the new year - I'm renovating this doll house that's an amazingly close version of the real Folk Lore Farm...what are you going to do/seek in 2016? ( see, I've already got a cat on the porch...)

What can you do with silverplate? Take one (inexpensive) silverplate trophy bowl, one $10 bouquet of white roses from Krogers; greenery from your yard (and maybe your neighbors'), one big floral "frog." Play for 15 minutes, putting in greenery and then roses (or the other way around). Then bask in a Martha Stewart glow after hearing the compliments from your friends and family on New Year's Day. LOL. #happynewyear
