Being Grateful is giving yourself permission to be happy! All my life I’ve wanted things to be just right, but if you’re familiar with reality, that is rarely the case. I find it very easy to focus on the problems that I need to fix and things that go wrong. However, allowing myself to focus on negativity results in a pessimistic view of people and the world. I have learned that Gratitude allows me to see the beautiful miracles and blessings that God puts in my life each day.... When I remember to thank God for all He does for me, I can’t help but develop a much more positive attitude, even when things are hard. And after taking the time to be Grateful for a while now, I’ve realized that there is always Hope! I am deeply Grateful that the Lord has come through time and time again for me and many others. I know that He will do so again! Remembering to be Grateful allows us to feel Hope and develop Faith. If you are struggling to feel the light and love of the Savior Jesus Christ in your life, I challenge you to take the time each day to write down the things you are grateful for! You will find little miracles in your life that you might have never realized otherwise.
