COVID-19 Vaccine Information Visit http://phdistrict2.org/ to register to schedule your COVID vaccine if you are 65+! Governor Brian Kemp and Commissioner Kathl...een Toomey, M.D., M.P.H., announced last week to add adults aged 65 and older, law enforcement officers, firefighters and first responders to the current group of individuals eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccination in Phase 1-A. Appointments will be made for residents in the county in which they live or work. District 2 Public Health is adjusting their online scheduling tool so residents can make an appointment for the vaccine. They are also adding capacity to their call center to handle the large volume of phone calls. They hope to have this operational very soon. Please have patience. Vaccine is given by appointment only. Please do not go to any of our health departments without having an appointment. You cannot be given the vaccine without an appointment.
