CUSTOMER APPRECIATION AND MEDAL PRESENTATION After being named the Grand National Champion of the 2017 U.S. Open Beer Championship recently held ...in Ohio, Cherry Street Brewing is ready to celebrate. On Saturday, July 22th, representatives from the beer competition will be on hand at Cherry Street Taproom to present the medals to the Cherry Street Brewing team, led by founder and brewer Nick Tanner. This win is a huge honor for us. We’re really just proud of what we do: my team, the brewers, they work really, really hard, and it’s one of those pats on the back that was unexpected, said Tanner. Brewing is a very labor-intensive, physical job, and it’s not the prettiest job sometimes. What better way to say thank you to all supporters, friends, family and customers than to host a party! From 4 to 6 pm Cherry Street Taproom, along with Rick Tanner’s Grille, will take time to thank their customers and celebrate their accomplishments. Medals will be presented at 5 pm by representatives of the US Open Beer Championship. At the end of the day, when you’re able to produce something and be so proud of it and people be so satisfied and happy and excited about a product that you made, it’s rewarding. And now we want to thank our customers for their continued support, Tanner added. Award winning beers will be on tap, as well as live music and light appetizers. Join the celebration! We ordered the the Palapas Botana Steak, Chicken and Shrimp fajitas with romaine shredded lettuce, cheese cubes, tomatoes, ja...lapeños and Palapas slice of avocado As it has been hot and humid this Summer, we got a refreshing crisp salad, that was more than just an everyday dish. The steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas had just the right amount of caramelization and spice. The lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos and avocado made you feel like you were under a hut on the beach in Mexico. Let’s not stop here the Margaritas featuring Windermere, Chattahooche, Swirled, and Texas are just like vacation. With a great list of Cervezas, mixed drinks and soft drinks you can almost feel the sand and hear the ocean.
