Due to two recent incidents on Fort Gordon involving dog bites in the family housing area, we would like to remind everyone of the Garrison Commander's Policy Memorandum No. 21 -Installation Pet Policy dated July 22, 2020 . Please take time to review the entire memorandum via the provided link below. If you have a pet in the on post housing areas you MUST ensure that Fort Gordon Family Homes is aware of the pet and that you have provided required documentation to have the pet in family housing. Please remember, a leash is required when walking your pets outside, they cannot roam freely. ***UPDATE / EVENT RESCHEUDLED for Dec 11th*** Virtual Fort Gordon Christmas Tree Lighting Effective immediately: the Fort Gordon Christmas Tree lighting wil...l now be livestreamed on Friday, Dec. 11th at 5 p.m. here, on the Fort Gordon Garrison Facebook page. Due to health concerns there will not be a Christmas Festival. Following the ceremony Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride through the Fort Gordon housing areas escorted by the Fort Gordon Fire Department and Military Police check out the updated schedule provided for their approximate arrival time in your neighborhood. ***Please maintain physical distancing and do not allow children to approach the vehicles at any time.
