Foundation for Hospital Art 02.06.2021

It's the last day of Global Volunteer Month, and today we are highlighting our healthcare volunteers. Healthcare workers benefit from artwork in the hospital setting nearly as much as the patients. When healthcare workers get to paint alongside patients, the artwork created becomes even more special. The bond between patients and healthcare workers is strengthened, the teams working together to save lives are given time to bond, and the artwork created hangs in the hallways where they are encountered by these same people every day. The opportunity to paint in the hospitals where the art will be donated doubles the impact and leaves lasting impressions. #hospitalart #volunteerhighlight #globalvolunteermonth2021 #healthcareworkers

Happy Global Volunteer Month! Today we are highlighting our faith-inspired volunteers. With so many youth and adult programs with an emphasis in volunteerism, FFHA has become the perfect partner for churches, temples, and synagogues all over the world. No matter your religion, we all want to make the world a better place, including our places of healing. With FFHA, groups have been able to make an impact in their communities through art. #hospitalart #volunteerhighlight #globalvolunteermonth2021

With an emphasis on corporate responsibility and team bonding, our partnership with corporations had lead to the donations of artwork to tens-of-thousands of hospitals all around the world. #hospitalart #volunteerhighlight #corporateresponsiblity #globalvolunteermonth2021

A new mural (Surf Shack) is hung alongside a past design (Hot Air Balloon) at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, MA. It is so fun to see these collections of FFHA history still bringing joy to hospitals. #hospitalart
