NOTICE FROM THE GRAND LODGE OF GEORGIA: THE WORKDAY AT THE GEORGIA MASONIC CHILDREN’S HOME SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, APRIL 24TH HAS BEEN CANCELED BECAUSE OF THE HIGH PROBABILITY OF RAIN. WE DO NOT WANT OUR GOOD BROTHERS TO MAKE THE TRIP TO MACON AND NOT BE ABLE TO WORK AND ENJOY FELLOWSHIP. IF BROTHERS FROM LODGES WOULD LIKE TO GO TO THE HOME AND WORK ON SOME OF THE NEEDS THERE YOU CAN CALL JOHN SNIPES AND MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO HELP AS AN INDIVIDUAL LODGE.... WE DO NOT KNOW IF ANOTHER WORKDAY CAN BE SCHEDULED DUE TO THE LACK OF AVAILABLE SATURDAYS AT THE MASONIC HOME. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR AUGUST 14TH FOR THE LAYING OF THE CORNERSTONE AND DEDICATION OF COTTAGE NO. 5. IT WILL BE A FULL DAY OF ACTIVITIES WITH FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT, AND A COMMEMORATIVE COIN FOR MASONS ATTENDING THE OCCASION.
