Hold on to Your Confidence! Hebrew 3:6-14 KJV 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. 7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, ...Continue reading

Do Not Be Afraid; Trust Jesus! Mark 5:35-36 35 While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. Your daughter is dead, they said. Why bother the teacher anymore? 36 Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, Don’t be afraid; just believe.... You may be going through a time of darkness and despair, when it looks like Jesus has forgotten about you. When you need help, just trust his words. Romans 10:17, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." We will in our life sometimes be faced with problems and troubles that are bigger than us, but they are not impossible for the Lord, if we only believe him." NKJV Jairus was facing fear like so many do sometimes. Fear is an enemy of faith. You cannot operate in both at the same time. Do not allow fear to take up residences in your heart. Instead, allow faith to dominate. Jesus wants us to have his peace, even in a time of a storm in our life. He wants us to be of good cheer, but in this world, he said that we will have tribulations. You need the peace of God in your life to withstand the tribulations of this world. What is tribulation? It is a short period of time where everyone will experience worldwide hardships. The COVID-19 epidemic is a good example of a worldwide hardships. Just remember what Jesus said, "I have overcome the world." We have the victory in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our God is victorious. He always wins. He has never lost a battle. 1 Chronicles 29:11 - "Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all." No matter how dark it looks right now, continue to trust in the Lord. Deuteronomy 31:8, "And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." Joshua 1:9, "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Do Not Be Afraid; Trust Jesus!

Psalm 139:4 KJV 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Psalm 119:11 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.... Luke 6:45 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Jesus Got Up! Now You Need to Get Up Matthew 28:5-6 "5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was cru...cified. 6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." Mark 9:31, "For he taught his disciples, and said unto them*, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day." When Jesus tells you something, you need to trust what he says. He got up just like he said he would. The Father was well pleased and there was not anything else that he needed to do. He just paid it all, for all mankind. Yes, you and especially you, even if you have not accepted him as your Lord and Savior. This was just the beginning for the child of God. Jesus has done his part that he was sent to earth to do. But I want to remind you that you have a part to do in this great salvation that we have received from God. Ecclesiastes 12:13, " Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." During Jesus' time on earth, he made many promises about the peace and hope he offers is truly the Savior of the world. He has done everything for us, what have you been doing for him. Because He got up, it is time for you to get up and do what he told you to do. Obey Gods' word to live like he told you to live, to trust him, have faith that he will do what he told you. Get up and do something. Do not sit on the seat of do nothing. Following Jesus is not just talk. It is action, we need to put Gods' word into action. Jesus is always there to help you do your part. Your part is to get up and spring into action with this great salvation he has given us because of the grace of God. Luke 8:54, "Then Jesus took her by the hand and said in a loud voice, My child, get up! NLT Jesus knows just how to help you in whatever state you are in, this same word applies to you as his child, get up. Jesus has gotten the victory already. Now get up with your faith in him. Get up and go serve him. John 5:7 "The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while* I am coming, another steppeth down before me. 8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath." Do not allow your own excuses to hinder your blessings from God. When Jesus told the man to get up, and he obeyed, he was made whole and walked. When obstacles come in your life, speak to them with faith in God, and tell yourself to get up and spring into action, doing or being active in the things of the Lord is the best antidote for stagnation. Luke 22: "5 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, 46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation." The problem with the disciples in verse 45 was Jesus found them sleeping instead of praying. If Jesus had to pray, you should know that it is a must for us. It is a problem for you to be sleeping instead of praying. Jesus said rise and pray (get up) and pray lest ye enter into temptation. To develop a good prayer life like all Christians, need, you need to get up and pray daily in order to move forward in God. If you are not praying like you should be, then you are sleeping. GET UP! In this day and time people of God need to be praying without ceasing to get the victory. You need to get up and move. When Jesus got up, we were furnished with everything we need to live an abundant life in Christ. Choose to live for Jesus the above life, not the worldly life motivated by flesh. Get up and walk in the newness of life. It is the life that is given by God through Christ Jesus to those who believe the gospel. GET UP!
