I want to give a Huge THANKS to Officer Jonathan Kelley. He did a welfare check on our Father in Carnesville Ga. Our father being as stubborn as he is wouldn’t ...go to the Hospital. Officer Kelley reached out to EVERYONE he could get in touch with. I drove down Tuesday and He agreed with us to go to the Hospital. Officer Kelley escorted us there and by doing this saved his life. He would have not made it the rest of he week in the condition he was found in. Thank You Franklin County Sheriff Department and Officer Jonathan Kelley. Talk about going ABOVE and BEYOND is an understatement with this Great Guy. See more

PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Franklin County Board of Commissioners Emergency Management Agency For Release: Immediate, Wednesday, October 28, 2020... Contact Person: Beth Thomas 706-384-2483 Email: [email protected] Franklin County, Georgia Contracts with CodeRED to Provide Emergency Notification Services (FRANKLIN COUNTY, GA, October 28, 2020) Following a thorough evaluation and review of alerting systems, Franklin County Emergency Management has implemented CodeRED, a high-speed emergency mass notification service provided by Ormond Beach, FL-based OnSolve, LLC. The CodeRED system will serve as the backbone of Franklin County’s emergency planning and communications outreach to both citizens and staff. The system sends telephone calls, text messages, and emails to inform residents to better protect life and property. CodeRED was selected for its reliability and accuracy, as well as the system’s wide spread adoption rates across the U.S. CodeRED’s robust notification system will provide Franklin County officials with a reliable, easy-to-use interface to quickly deliver critical information to our citizens during emergencies. We are eager to use this innovative technology to enhance our emergency preparedness plans and have been diligently preparing for the implementation, said County Manager Beth Thomas. However, in anticipation of the approaching inclement weather, the CodeRed system has been activated today. OnSolve has provided Franklin County an initial database of residential and business telephone numbers; The phone numbers in the initial database may receive calls if any national weather alerts are issued for our area. All residents living within Franklin County limits are encouraged to text AlertFranklin to 99411 to receive the link to enroll their contact information including cell phone numbers, text and email addresses. No one should automatically assume they are in the emergency contact database. Additional information will follow and will be posted to our website as soon as possible. Public safety officials across the United States have credited CodeRED notifications for successfully locating missing children, apprehending wanted criminals and issuing timely evacuations. *** Please share this post to help alert others! *** Online Sign Up Link: https://public.coderedweb.com/CNE/en-US/BFD3E57A504D
