***Public Notice*** Friends, family, and followers of Freedom Family Worship Center, Inc. As of December 23, 2018, Freedom Family Worship Center, Inc. (FFWC) officially held its last worship service, after 11 years. The members (who were in attendance) were informed prior. This decision was not made lightly but was made after much prayer, fasting, and conversation. The ministry has fed and clothed many in the community, supported children with free bookbags and school supp...lies, supported the local schools, supported local pastors and churches. The "doors" were open to people of all denominations, races. It was a safe haven for people suffering from subtance abuse, and people whose lifestyles made them feel alienated from traditional churches. We preached "The Full Gospel" without compromise, but we were careful not to harshly judge people or condemn them. We allowed youth and teens to express themselves with their God-given gifts and talents. We worked hard to bridge the generational gap by offering a worship service that included all generations. We never "begged" or manipulated for money. NEVER! I, nor my staff ever received a salary, bonuses, cars, ect. from tithes and offerings collected. No scandels! We took great pains to build a ministry that glorified God and addressed the decades of complaints about "the church" from Christians and non-Christians alike. We did all that we knew to eliminate excuses for not going to church (even live streaming messages). But... obviously... that was not enough. Attendence declined drastically over the past 2 years. As the founder, I can't help but take this personally. This ministry is closing due to lack of interest and there is no plan to restart it. Lack of interest results in lack of attendance and thus, lack of finances. My first responsibility is to the well-being of my family, and I cannot continue to pull funds from my family and cause them to suffer for a cause that people are not interested in. I refuse to be a public success and a private failure. The decision to close was mine after much prayer. To my wife, children & family, thank you for always supporting me. Knowing this, is all the more reason for my decision. My heart hurts and even breaks for the few members who worked hard and stood by the ministry until its final days.
