Here is an update on Bogie who was dumped at the Newington dumpster in May along with his sister and rescued by FoSCA volunteer Joy. They had NO hair and full of worms! He and his sister, Babbs were taken to Stars Ga Rescue in Bulloch County. Sadly, Babbs didn't make it. The Bogie Man is a real trooper and a huge lovebug! Isn't be beautiful?

Okay... yesterday we posted Peter, the first dog brought to the new FoSCA Haven. Who remembers the 2nd dog brought in and his name? He was a 9 month old Australian Shepherd male that was dumped at the county pound with a badly embedded collar.

Who remembers Peter? He was the very first dog pulled by FoSCA to our new shelter in June 2009. He was named "Peter the Rock". He had been hit by a car and dumped off at the county pound where he was attacked by another dog. He had cuts and tears all over and a bad infection. We did not think he was going to make it for a few days there. He did, and after a couple of months of love and care was adopted by someone who absolutely adores him.
