Great exhibit at the High. Took a little more effort to get a timed ticket, but totally worth it to see "Picture the Dream: The Story of the Civil Rights Movement through Children's Books". Saw illustrations by Faith Ringgold, Jerry Pinkney, Brian Pinkney, Kadir Nelson, Laura Freeman, Bryan Collier, graphic artist Nate Powell (of John Lewis's March series), and so many more! Really beautifully done. See it until Nov 8th.
This article is spot on. Our library is a part of a community. We miss those daily interactions and that personal contact. See you again on the other side.
