They have been caring for and feeding him, in hopes of finding his owner. Sadly, no one claimed this sweet boy. During the time Jasper was visiting his new friends, he was playful with their rat terrier and great with their grandchildren, as well. Jasper also tested well with another dog at animal control. Jasper is super sweet, affectionate, and knows how to sit and shake, when asked. He is super gentle when taking his treats. He does tend to get excited when he comes out of his kennel for a walk, and will pull a little on the leash. He has gotten himself lost, and sadly, no one has come looking for this sweet boy. Titan is a gentle giant. He is good with other dogs, as well as being a super sweet and gentle young boy. He knows how to sit nicely for his treats and he will take them ever so gently from your hand. Titan walks very well on a leash and he will even do his business while outside on a walk. When this cutie gets excited, his whole body wiggles just as fast as his tail. Titan is waiting patiently for someone to notice what a wonderful addition he would make to their family. KNIGHT ID: 11621 BREED: Flat Coat Retriever GENDER: male AGE: appears to be young WEIGHT: approx 40 lbs HW STATUS: unknown AVAILABLE: Saturday 4/24 Say hello to Knight This poor boy is so scared and unsure of his new surroundings. Knight lays in the same spot in his kennel trembling and afraid to move . He allowed me to sit near him in the kennel, and he eventually attempted to take a vienna sausage from my hand. I am hopeful he will learn to trust and see that all people are not so bad. We don’t know this boys story, but we do know that he needs a quiet place to decompress, and a person willing to be patient and understanding with him. At this time, Knight is only available for rescue due to his current fearful state. ID: 11321 BREED: Hound GENDER: male **NEUTERED** AGE: approx 6-7 yrs old WEIGHT: 50.5 lbs HW STATUS: HW NEG (tested 4/19) DOG FRIENDLY AVAILABLE: Tuesday 4/20 Say hello to Abel This sweet boy was found out wandering around with another dog. The other dog has been reclaimed by her owner and went home, but poor Abel is still waiting.He sits patiently in his kennel wanting to go home. Abel is microchipped, but none of the information on his chip is accurate, and animal control has been unsuccessful in contacting Abels owner. Abel is a sweet boy who likes to be close to his person. He will shower you with loving kisses, and he gets so excited to have someone spend a little time with him. Abel is super friendly and a happy boy, too! He did well with the female dog he was wandering around with, as well as another male dog at animal control, and he was super gentle with a puppy. Abel would love to find his person...someone to take him on walks to explore and cuddle with him on the sofa.
