Happy Labor Day! It’s been quite a long time since we’ve posted but the ponies and humans of the Mounted Patrol are doing well. Stay tuned. We should find out soon if we can open up for tours and I’ll make the announcement here. We appreciate everyone that’s reached out over the last several months and checked in. Atlanta’s Mounted Patrol visited Piedmont Park yesterday and reminded everyone to #WashYourHooves

Good morning everyone! We’ve been absent from Facebook for a bit and wanted to say hello. The officers and horses of the Mounted Patrol are in good health and patrolling daily. We’re temporarily closed to the public but are looking forward to opening the barn doors to everyone again soon. Meet Jasper. Our newest addition to the Mounted Patrol. Big thanks to Channel 2 for giving him lots of air time this week. He’s a three year old Clydesdale/Thoroughbred cross from Asbury University in Kentucky and quite the goon. We took him on his first long range patrol yesterday and he performed splendidly.

Atlanta continues to grow and the Mounted Patrol needs more horses to keep our citizens and guests safe as they patrol some of the city's largest parades, conventions and sporting events.
