Update on Anthony: 3 hours breathing on his own! Heart rate 88 O2 sats 98... Respirations per min 21 BP 122/86 He has a tummy ache, probably from being so empty He is napping, but as soon as I can I will get respiratory therapy to do the sip/swallow test. He wants Root Beer of all things.
Prayer warriors!!! Update on Anthony Hammett, he is still in CCU. They are unable to get IVs started again. Unsuccessful with a PIC line as well. Will take him into OR in the morning to get a central line in place. It has been a very emotional day for him. Anthony has been a little sassy today, imagine that! At one time today he was ready to sign himself out! I love his sass and spunk - at times. Please keep the prayers coming. I love and appreciate each of you are are praying and sending warm thoughts his way!
