The Fulton County Police Department has arrested two suspects in the murder of Khalid Abdus-Salaam. Mr. Abdus-Salaam was shot and killed on 08-26-2019 around 3:30 AM. Suspects Lejla Ferizovic and Dashaun Ross were both arrested on Fulton County Warrants by the DeKalb County Police Department on 09-10-2019.

Randisha Love Murdered on 01-12-16 On the evening of 01-12-2016, Katara Hamm came home with her son and found her daughter, Randisha Love, shot to death in the hallway of their home in College Park, Georgia. ... After 21 years and over 100 DNA comparisons, the Fulton County Police Department is elated to finally have the suspect, Jerry Lee, in custody for the 1997 cold case murder of Lorrie Ann Smith. It was through a genealogy website that we were able to positively match Lee's DNA to the murder. We would like to thank our detectives for all their hard work and dedication in bringing justice to the Smith family. ********* * **************** On January 19, 2018 Fulton County Police Officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a residence located in the City of South Fulton. Prior to arrival, units were advised by an anonymous caller that they noticed males carrying televisions to suspicious vehicles parked in the area. The caller provided a description of the perpetrators and their vehicles. Fulton County Police units swarmed the area. In a combined effort,... units located the two OCCUPIED vehicles matching the description of the vehicles involved in the burglary. Using extreme caution, Fulton County Police units pursued the vehicles. By working together, our officers apprehended and arrested two of the three perpetrators!!!!!! We are pleased to report that no officers were injured or property damaged in this pursuit. It is with a heavy heart that we reflect on the life and legacy of Mr. Wayne Wright. Mr. Wright was a highly respected leader of the Fulton County Code Enforcement Team, who served his community for over twenty years. He was a kind yet stern leader who developed a team of skilled code enforcement officers. In the community, Mr. Wright was a pillar of knowledge. With a heart of gold, he was ALWAYS willing to help. After taking ill, Mr. Wright continued to fight for others and helped aid a smooth transition of services from Fulton County to the City of South Fulton. Thank you Mr. Wright for your service, mentorship, and dedication to the Fulton County Police Department and Fulton County Code Enforcement. You will truly be missed! To the Wright family, please accept our sincere condolences.
