Not even 24 hours old and Hugh is already going in the cattle chute by himself! Smart little boy!!!

I’m not sure why everyone was running this evening. Even the cows were getting into the action.

Hefner wanted some attention this evening. He is a gentle giant for sure!

Twinkie finally made her arrival this evening!

Piglets are out learning bad habits from the adults. They fight over food regardless of how much they are fed.

Dad made these awesome pig feeders a couple of years ago. The pigs move them around which makes using the pipes useless. Two different methods were used to attach them to the fence and the pigs always tore them away. Today, I think we finally fixed the issue. Fingers crossed! While we were working in the pig pen, the pigs were chilled out and taking mud baths!

So, it just had to have the easy, expensive meal instead of using it’s mad skills to get it’s food. ARHHHH! 3 melanistic pheasant gone, only one made it into it’s belly. He’ll be getting a ride far far away tomorrow.

Everything is a big play toy with these 4! Sorry it’s a little shaky. I was trying to drive the bumpy tractor and turn backwards at the same time filming, hoping not to run into anything.

Groot was all chilled out waiting on me to open the feeding stall this morning.

Trimming trees and making piggies happy. Happy piggies, tasty meat.

Our newest addition, Salsa! She’s a little girl. 3/4 Brahman, 1/4 Jersey. She is letting me love all over her, so that’s always a good sign. It will change tomorrow when all the others tell her I’m a monster!

Somebody said last week they could watch this daily.....Maxine is not very graceful trotting down hill. Now, watch Tucker, the buckskin stallion, charge the fence line letting our gelding know he’s to stay away from his mares.....

Just opened the lower pasture for some of the animals. Love watching them run!

We have a new baby!!! His name is Taco!!!! He had a rough day yesterday with the storms, but he appears to be healthy. He has our little herd watching over him to include a few horses.

I placed an order for local honey with several varieties because I love fermented garlic and honey. I rec’d two free items!!!! The honey spread and the lip balms. This is supporting local business and them giving back!!!!! THANK YOU Weeks Honey Farm!!!

This is what a 5 month old’s tantrum looks like when they want milk. Jinx is a mess! It also amazes me she was a little premature and how she’s filled out so quickly.

One of the projects on my list was to make homemade laundry detergent. I’ve had the ingredients for about two months. Since we are staying in as much as possible, I am running low on laundry detergent. I had to do this when Fio wasn’t home while grating the solid soap component. He has a habit of grabbing cheese as I’m shredding it.......It would be funny, but I’m not THAT mean! I only made a half batch since 5 gallons is a bit much for us.

Just left the family of three in the shade paddock getting it ready for the mares with pink around their eyes. These three will be moved back in a few hours but decided to treat them for a little bit. I have about another 200 ft to finish the 2nd strand of hot tape, but that will be for this evening or tomorrow morning. Between the moisture coming up from the rain and the sun heating up, it’s a little warm this afternoon.
