Fused Light Studio

Hallway installation of a new kilnformed glass piece, 44 Forms (Talking Heads). It is 76 tall. The glass pieces were formed in my sandbed kiln to elicit unique sounds and intricate shadows (sounds can be heard in the video). The opaque white pieces form the inverted pyramid shape, referencing the traditional newswriting format

I love seeing what creative minds do while playing in the sandbed kiln. These are from our workshop yesterday. Great fun! PSSSSST if you'd like to do this, we have another session on Feb. 24, 6-9 pm~!
