AROUND 2:30 PM yesterday - GOVERNOR KEMP SIGNED OUR HISTORIC SB 321!!! This is the APRN/PA Parity bill that includes removing the barriers for APRNs to allow them to order radiographic imaging!! The bill will go into effect on January 1, 2021. ... This was a major team effort by many - LEAD BY YOUR APRN LEADERSHIP TEAM!! YOUR LEADERSHIP TEAM SPENT SOOOO MANY HOURS ON ZOOM CALLS, CONFERENCE CALLS, AT THE CAPITOL LOBBYING THE BILL, PREPARING EMAILS AND FLYERS TO CIRCULATE, ETC.ETC. AND ALL THE OTHER LEADERS AND ADVOCATES WHO EITHER CAME TO THE CAPITOL OR SENT EMAILS/CALLS, ETC. IT TOOK EVERYONE TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE!!! And this effort started almost 10 years ago.this is the first APRN legislation to pass in Georgia since Rx Authority in 2006. Thank you to APRN leaders past and present who began this effort and never gave up!!!
