Hello Gainesville Ballet Families and Supporters! We have some new, super soft, comfortable t-shirts up on our site for purchase with five different color options and expanded sizing. Happy Tappa Tappa Tuesday Gainesville Ballet! Miss Carly has another tap video for all levels. This demonstration is all about time steps. Miss Carly breaks down the steps for a single, double, triple and...QUADRUPLE TIME STEP! Have fun and please share with us how you did by tagging Gainesville Ballet. Note: Those enrolled in Miss Carly's Thursday Beg/Int tap class are encouraged to work on at least the single and double time step.

COVID-19 Update 4-3-20: It is with heavy hearts that we announce that all performances for the 2019-2020 school year are officially cancelled. This means that, for Gainesville School of Ballet, in-studio classes are cancelled for the remainder of the school year and there will be no recital performances. Regarding costumes that are already paid for, we will find a way to distribute them when it is safe to do so and will keep you updated. ... This also means that GBC's Wizard of Oz has been postponed until next spring. Costumes and sets are ready and our dancers have worked SO HARD rehearsing the choreography. They cannot wait to show you what has been put together! We invite you all to come see the show next March! In the meantime, we are putting up some classes for our company dancers on our Youtube as well as working on providing online classes for ALL levels.
