Today's speaker spotlight is Tina Vinsant from Good Nurse Bad Nurse Podcast! Join us as Tina shares the legal consequences of negligence in nursing and three stories about nurses who failed to provide adequate care for their patients which ultimately lead to the patient’s death or permanent loss of quality of life. All three of these stories are of nurses who were sued due to negligence and were found to be responsible for their lack of assessment and negligence. However, one of these stories is particularly disturbing due to the inaction, lack of follow up, and negligence that took place by this nurse in this story. Don't forget to register! *Speaker Spotlight* Today's speaker spotlight is Julie Moretz! Every health system’s quality improvement journey may be different, but a common element in achieving better and safer outcomes is engaging patients and families.
