Transit should be an option regardless of where you live. Moultrie is showing how it can work even in smaller, rural towns. https://news.uga.edu/moultrie-bus-routes/

This will keep MARTA afloat for a few more years, and let them focus on improving their routes and expanding with new bus and rail options. Remember that our votes in November and January made this possible.

Henry County is working on a Transit Master Plan, and they have a web map where you can submit areas where they should plan transit improvements: better bus service, regional connections, sidewalks, and even commuter rail! Check it out. Especially if you live or work in Henry. http://henrytransitmasterplan.com//feedback.html

We have three Georgia representatives on this committee who will be voting on this today. Give them a call to support this transit relief funding. Nikema Williams, Carolyn Bourdeaux, and Hank Johnson.

The ATL is studying how to create a seamless payment system across multiple transit providers in the Atlanta region. Fill out this survey to help them develop a more effective and equitable fare structure. This is a great move to help people who use multiple systems to get around for work, leisure, or any other reason. Gwinnett Transit, CobbLinc, Connect Douglas, Xpress, MARTA, and several others in metro Atlanta will be better connected by integrating their fares.

Buttigieg is a somewhat unexpected choice, but he's shaping up to be an ally in our journey for more buses, trains, and safe infrastructure. Mark us as cautiously optimistic. https://www.sierraclub.org//sierra-club-statement-presiden

Hall County is starting up a microtransit service. It will start in City of Gainesville, and be expanded to the rest of the county by July of next year.
