I was was stuck on a hill in the clay, after days of rain...and it had been pour all night. I wasn't even on a road, was coming from a pond way bay on some kin folks property. I had spent hours in the rain and had been slowly and painstakingly using a com-along to wench it up a hill....very slow going. I had called several places to check my options . Most wouldn't even think about it. I was fortunate enough to reach the owner himself. Told me he didn't like the situation but would see what he could do. Called me right back, very friendly, helpful and seemed to genuinely want to help. Said his truck he preferred was out on a run, couldn't be sure how long it would take but he would get back with me and gave me some really useful advice about how to handle my situation until then. So i kept at it and could only get it about 90 yards up the hill before running out of anchor points. I was done. All of that for nothing I thought. I had all but forgotten about the calls. He called me back to check up and see how things were. His big truck was still out but he had a little time before heading in to work and said he'd come by in his personal truck and try since I'd gotten a little further. I was so glad to see him arrive. He was courteous, professional and concerned. He assessed the situation, figured out what he needed to do, and had me out in in about 10 minutes. And my situation was not standard at all. Paying for services was easy, reasonable and affordable. But what really struck me was that in a day and time when everyone is too busy , this man took time to go the extra mile, and really cares about the customers and providing excellent service. I Don't know about anyone else but i was very pleased. I would gladly have given more than 5 stars were it possible. I hope the owner sees this and knows how much I appreciated his help.
