We were pleased to have a very important and knowledgeable visitor to the Leon and Rachel Gathany Museum of Natural History. Stan Smith came by to view the museum on Saturday and to help us plan some outreach events for the future.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Charles Warren Smith, our friend and major contributor to the Museum. Charles Warren Smith was part of a group of men who organized the initial funding of the Museum in the early 2000s with a "Roast" of Leon Gathany at Georgia Baptist Assembly. He will be missed. https://www.acree-davisfh.com/obituar/Charles-Warren-Smith
