Bullet points/instructions for the post vasectomy reversal operative period: You can shower but for the first two to three days, don't let water hit the operative site directly. A thin layer of Neosporin over the suture sites daily is recommended. A formal dressing is not required but one 4x4 gauze between underwear and the sutures may be more comfortable. The sutures dissolve-but not all at the same time.... http://gavasectomyreversal.com//instructions-after-the-va/

A little red visitor in our house!
The suture is the size of hair and the vas opening is the size of the O in God on a penny. Also...12-15 sutures are placed on each side. And now you know! It’s your move!!! http://gavasectomyreversal.com//why-is-an-operating-micro/

Vasectomy Reversal Success! http://gavasectomyreversal.com//06/mchugh-vasectomy-rever/
This is a common question and maybe more common for me than other urologists. Why? I make one mid-line opening using the no scalpel instrument. This is done at the peno-scrotal junction (upper aspect of the scrotum in the middle.) Through this opening the right side vas deferens is brought to the surface and the vasectomy is performed. This vas then returns to the right. [ 192 more words ] http://gavasectomyreversal.com//what-is-tenderness-on-one/
