FYI GC Students!

Today's transformative experience is Community Based Engaged Learning! This is also known as "Service Learning", or "The ENGAGE Project". This experience is used with courses and co-curricular projects, such as clubs. Students have the opportunity to take what they have learned in classes and apply it their community. A fun fact: A majority of hiring managers are more likely to hire individuals who have participated in field based or service learning projects. Today’s transformative experience is MURACE, which stands for Mentored Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors. This program allows students to work outside of the classroom with a faculty mentor that assists them in making an intellectual and creative contribution to the school!

Each program is designed to allow students to showcase their leadership skills and to help them further develop their skills!
