PSA: With all the hoopla and hullabaloo in the world right now, I wanted to put this here. Geoffreys Home Solutions will remain open. We have scheduled work and appointments over the next two weeks, and plan on keeping those appointments. I believe some are taking this too lightly (this being Coronavirus), and some taking this much too seriously; crossing in to the panic zone. The crew here at GHS is not. We promise to remain sanitary and hygienic (at all times, not just whi...le on site), respectful, courteous, professional, and congenial. If we aren’t well, we’ll do what we have always done, call you (not make physical contact with you) and reschedule. We also ask our clients do the same (haven’t had more than a handful in the past who haven’t been, but still). Wash your hands, arms, and face. Don’t cough in others faces, be aware of surroundings and all in all, follow the rules most learned in the first few years of schooling. We promise to do this with you. While we are aware of the risks, people still need service and to be cared for. Homes need maintenance, people want to have their happy place at home (especially with canceled and undeterminably delayed travel plans); and while spending more time at home you may want, or see, something that needs to be fixed/done. It is our mission and goal to deliver this to you, our clients. Don’t panic. A healthy dose of caution and peaked awareness are a good thing. Don’t be the deer staring in to the lights, be the one watching the car go by from the side of the road. If you need us, we’ll be there. What a first day back actually WORKING with the guys. Transforming this laundry and taking care of a few things other contractors missed.

I’d like to apologize in advance to the neighbors across the street! They aren’t so elegant as the flush mount fixtures before but (I’m not installing a faux beam to hide the lamp-holders ) there won’t be any more stumbling around in a poorly lit garage.

Working our way backward through projects for the next week... what a great way to reminisce and remind ourselves of what all has been accomplished! This bonus room was finished out in 4 days. The homeowners want to paint it themselves; I can’t wait to get back and mount the tv for them!

Had the pleasure of seeing Dale today and getting him the lighting package his shower deserves!
