Today, we recognize and celebrate the 19th Amendment and the tremendous asset our female members are in advocating for legislative issues important to Georgia a...griculture. From working hard to educate both politicians and voters, to consistently showing up at the polls to make their voices heard, we thank them! Be sure to continue this tradition by exercising your right to vote on November 3. See more
Today we thank all of the dads out there for all that you do. We hope you have a very happy Father's Day.
Today is Flag Day! On May 30, 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation establishing a National Flag Day on June 14. The day commemorates the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States!
Today is National Teacher Day! Teachers play a critical role in educating and shaping our children. They are kind, patient, hard-working, dedicated, and understanding professionals who help mold our children and guide them in positive directions. We want to thank all of the teachers out there who are still teaching and educating during this time. Tag a teacher in your life and let them know how much you appreciate them!
Happy Earth Day! For farmers and ranchers, every day is Earth Day. They are the original stewards of the land. After all, their livelihood depends on it. Let's be thankful for the hard work they do to make sure we are all fed, clothed and sheltered, not just on Earth Day, but every day.
We would like to wish you and your family a joyous Easter Sunday!
Strawberries dried in the oven are healthy, full of antioxidants and taste like candy. Just preheat the oven to 200F, bake for 2 hours, flip and continue for another 2 hours. Tastes better than Twizzlers! Want more easy recipes to make with the kids in the kitchen? Check out our Ag In The Classroom recipe page to learn more. https://gfb.ag/AITC-Recipes
Mercy, peace and love. May the grace and Lord surround and be with you on this Good Friday.
We want to thank all the healthcare workers for their continued work during this time. Thank you for sacrificing your own health and well-being for us and being the frontline soldiers in this global fight against COVID-19.
Georgia teachers are on our minds and in our prayers today. We know you are hurting and missing your kids. They miss you too. You are such an important part of the lives of our young people. Thank you for your passion and love.
Did you know that more than half of US fatal crashes occur after a driver crosses the edge or centerline of a roadway? Two-thirds of these fatal crashes occur in rural areas. Rumble Strips are proven to significantly reduce these tragic accidents.
