So for all of you who are wondering about how GA Neuro Pain Therapy began? Here's the story...Beginning of Fall 2018, our son began suffering debilitating abdominal pain. Colin was a smart and athletically gifted 11 yr old who loved fishing with Dad and big brother, Ethan, spending time with Mom and playing football. Unfortunately, for 12 weeks those fun times were replaced by trips to the ER, doctor visits, CTs and MRIs, blood work and even surgery, only to be told, "We don'...t know whats wrong with him", and "There is no guarantee this will help him". Finally he got diagnosed with a condition called Functional Abdominal Pain (FAPS) and Visceral Hyperalgesia. Colin Muyres suffered through 9 months of daily pain leading us to more ER visits, 2 inpatient hospitalizations, trips to countless specialists mostly with CHOA, medication trials, more MRIs and CT scans, special diets, all with no relief, symptoms actually worsening - to the point of our child being hospital homebound and in a wheelchair. Then we found out about Calmare Therapy in Greenville, SC. Jeff did the daily trip for 10 days straight for Colin to get treated with Calmare Scrambler Therapy. And to our amazement - he was healed!!! ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN!! We could not believe it! Since then, we’ve had our family back, our son back, our sleep and sanity back. He is now back in school, in advanced classes, healthy, happy, playing football, basketball, track, doing fun tricks on his scooter pursuing his dream of being an NFL football player.
