Georgia 4-H 28.05.2021

The weather was perfect on Sunday as 253 4-H’ers, chaperoned by 255 coaches and parents, visited Rock Eagle 4-H Center to compete in the Georgia 4-H state B.B. competition! The Georgia 4-H B.B. program, a part of Project SAFE, is available to youth in the 4th-9th grades and aims to teach 4-H’ers safe and responsible use of shooting sports equipment including sound decision-making, self-discipline, and concentration.

Well, Georgia 4-H'ers from Columbia, Gordon, Gwinnett, Madison, Oconee, and Rockdale County put their knowledge of life skills to the test by representing Georgia in the National LifeSmarts Championship. The LifeSmarts consumer education competition challenges teens in grades 9-12 about personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology, and consumer rights and responsibilities. #growtrueleaders
