The weather was perfect on Sunday as 253 4-H’ers, chaperoned by 255 coaches and parents, visited Rock Eagle 4-H Center to compete in the Georgia 4-H state B.B. competition! The Georgia 4-H B.B. program, a part of Project SAFE, is available to youth in the 4th-9th grades and aims to teach 4-H’ers safe and responsible use of shooting sports equipment including sound decision-making, self-discipline, and concentration.

So, do you think you have life figured out? Well, Georgia 4-H'ers from Columbia, Gordon, Gwinnett, Madison, Oconee, and Rockdale County put their knowledge of life skills to the test by representing Georgia in the National LifeSmarts Championship. The LifeSmarts consumer education competition challenges teens in grades 9-12 about personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology, and consumer rights and responsibilities. #growtrueleaders

With Earth Day approaching on April 22, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Alumni Association is partnering with Georgia 4-H to offer an exciting learning opportunity for high school 4-H youth on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at 4:00pm eastern daylight time. Earlier this week, Georgia 4-H professionals from 15 counties participated in the national #4H #TechChangemakers training, learning how 4-H youth can teach digital literacy skills and be advocates for broadband Internet in their communities.
